This past weekend Buffalo Media Group headed up to north central Minnesota to Crosslake to shoot photo and video for Whitefish Area Lodging Association. We decided to tie in the shoot around the Minnesota Fishing Opener and we lucked out with one of the nicest weather fishing openers in a long time. Minnesota fishing openers are usually synonymous with crummy, cold weather but this year…Uff Da! We had two days of calm winds and bright, warm sunshine. The fishing action was super hot as well. There was plenty of activity on the numerous lakes surrounding the Whitefish Chain and the restaurants were bustling! Things are starting to look back to normal and Crosslake will surely do it in good fashion! Buffalo Media Group will be back up this summer to capture all things summer fun in Minnesota!
