Read MoreThis past August Buffalo Media Group was invited out to Gallatin Gateway, Montana to cover some of the outback adventures you will find at Nine Quarter Circle Ranch. A stone’s throw away from the backdoor of Yellowstone National, Nine Quarter Circle Ranch is beautifully situated in some of the most pristine country in the Northern Hemisphere. We are so thrilled to have spent a few days covering photo and video for their operation. It was certainly a treat meeting you all and hope to see you all again in the future!
Well we finally did it…Buffalo Media Group rolled the dice and luckily we won! We have been searching for quite a while for the right 8mm camera and film. This is the “Real McCoy” and we had it transferred to 4K video. We purchased a vintage 8mm camera for personal and business adventures and we are very happy with the results so far! This is a piece we did for River Bend Resort in Baudette, Minnesota this past July. We knew that a good Lake of the Woods fishing reel would be a great fit for the look! Now we can’t wait to share this art with all our resorts and guest ranches!

We ended up shooting a ton of great footage and have plenty of material for little side videos such as this here. We were going through footage and were feeling inspired to do a piece in monochromatic. We will be providing a full color video but in the meantime, this was an inspirational piece to capture the mood and ambiance of the ranch!
This past July Buffalo Media Group made our way up to the U.S./Canadian border for a shoot with River Bend Resort. River Bend Resort is located on Lake of the Woods and the mecca for walleye fishing. The drive in was amazing and you immediately get the sense that you are in for a real treat. This ranch has been operational now for going on 75 years and from what it sounds like…not a whole lot has changed.
