/This past week Buffalo Media Group was on the road covering stories for the next upcoming issue of Lake + Company magazine. We are making the rounds all around the state and midwest to cover compelling stories with strong, visual narratives. Lake + Company magazine has and is bringing to the forefront amazing local artists to be featured. In our search, we were introduced to some amazing people while on a shoot for Grand View Lodge back in April. This is where we met the folks from Nemeth Art Center out of Park Rapids, MN and we made an instant connection and as they say…the rest is history. So here we are and we could not be more thrilled to cover London-based artist Madeleine Bialke, resident artist here in Park Rapids, MN for the summer working on her art for upcoming shows. To say that I was blown away from the get go would be an understatement. The energy and aura in the air was unmistakable. It just breathed rich, earthly spiritual vibes that sent chills all over my body countless times. Instantly you get a sense of being transported to another dimension. It was as though we were in the Black Forest of northern Germany with all the rolling fields and heavy pine forests. It’s no wonder why this place exudes such energy and inspiration and for a moment, I was able to witness it and participate amongst it. The smell of fresh lilacs, swift spring breeze, leaves breathing, dancing…it was a feast for the senses and one I will not soon forget.
