This past week Buffalo Media Group was in Kabetogama, Minnesota up near the U.S./Canadian border covering new material for the Kabetogama Lakes Resorts. This first part of the year has been one of epic proportion. The extensive and damaging flooding from spring thaw has affected almost every single resort and resort owner in some fashion. This past year was a whirlwind and in that craziness we still found a chance to reach to local communities to help strengthen brands and promote tourism with local businesses. We had the great pleasure of meeting with, and subsequently becoming members with, the Crosslake Chamber of Commerce. Buffalo Media Group has been welcomed with very open arms. We are looking forward to so many exciting and creative business opportunities, not only with the Chamber of Commerce but with other local businesses to help create a unified look and style. This past Labor Day weekend Buffalo Media Group headed up to the north shore of Minnesota to cover commercial videography for Explore Minnesota. This was our first gig with Explore Minnesota and hopefully more to come. We were approached and asked to cover some key north shore towns such as Two Harbors and Grand Marais. We are very familiar with the entire drive up the Lake Superior coast so we made a few additional stop-offs at Split Rock Lighthouse, Iona Beach, Black Beach, Gooseberry Falls, and Lutsen.
