This July Buffalo Media Group was hired by Explore Minnesota to provide video production of Lake of the Woods in Baudette, Minnesota. We have always loved the Lake of the Woods area and jumped all over the opportunity to showcase our skills. By having looked at the video, you wouldn’t have realized how much severe weather we had to battle in order to fit the shoot in two days. Upon arrival at our cabin, the weather was already 91 degrees and extremely humid. This eventually then turned into massive storms the first night and into the next morning! As soon as the storms cleared out at 9:00am, it was off to the races and the prized fishing grounds. The weather did open up for a few hours and allow us to get over the the Northwest Angle and showcase some of the resorts in that remote part of Lake of the Woods. We would like to thank all who made this shoot a huge success that it was namely Paul and Brandi Johnson of River Bend’s Resort and Joe Henry with Lake of the Woods Tourism. This past June Buffalo Media Group was at the Red Door Resort on Lake Mille Lacs covering commercial video production. We have had a great standing relationship with the Red Door Resort and they have been a client of ours for three years now. We covered our first shoot with them back in 2020 at the height of COVID. We then covered a winter shoot in February of 2021. Now fast forward to summer 2022 and we are so thrilled to have captured a ton of new imagery and video for them! We look forward to many more amazing opportunities such as these!

This past week Buffalo Media Group was on the road traversing much of north central Minnesota with shoots at The Red Door Resort, Lake Mille Lacs Tourism, Nisswa Adventure Rentals, and finally the Crosslake Chamber of Commerce. We have had such a wonderful time working with the Chamber and being members. We are excited to see what the future holds working with so many great people and business owners in the area!

This past February Buffalo Media Group was in Crosslake for Winterfest 2022. We had a great time spectating all the snowmobiles and activities. We brought along the 8mm to capture all the excitement!

This past April Buffalo Media Group was in Crosslake, Minnesota to cover the 2022 Crosslake Senior Expo. The event highlight was the keynote speech by none other than Don Shelby, former head anchor for WCCO. Serenity | Minnesota Tourism Video Production

This past late winter Buffalo Media Group headed up to the U.S./Canadian border to provide video production for Kabetogama Lakes Resorts. This has been on the back burner since Covid and last winter didn’t pan out. So we finally made it happen and man are we glad it turned out the way it did. This past Saturday Buffalo Media Group covered the 48th Annual Crosslake Chamber of Commerce St. Patrick’s Day Parade. After a 2-year hiatus….they are back!!! We had a great time working with the Chamber on this piece and we look forward to many more years of partaking in the experience!

Mushing | Minnesota Dogsledding Photographer

This past week Buffalo Media Group was on a shoot for the Kabetogama Lakes Resorts and were fortunate enough to meet Joey Sabin with Voyageur Outdoor Adventures whose specialty is dogsledding. We were already shooting some video of other activities in the area and he graciously offered to hook up the dogs and allow us to get some footage of his dogsledding operation. This of course was a huge added bonus to our final video. In turn, we cut him a little promo piece as a thank you!
