Tranquility | Top WI Resort Photographer
/This past week Buffalo Media Group headed into the north woods of northern Wisconsin for a photo and video shoot for Pitlik’s Sand Beach Resort in Eagle River, WI. The majestic feeling of beautiful isolation was immediately felt and we were excited for a couple days of shooting this historic resort. The resort was hopping all weekend with tons of snowmobilers and people just wanting to get out and grab a nice dinner. When you think of quintessential Wisconsin lodge and supper club feel…this is it! From fishbowl Bloodies and brandy old-fashioned’s to homemade slow-roasted beef tips in mushroom gravy and of course plenty of deep-fried cheese curds and pickles dipped in ranch, these guys know how it’s done and rightfully so, they have been in business an astonishing 93 years! So picture this….deer mounts, pull-tabs, lone picture of Brett Favre on S.I. cover circa 2007 behind bar, fish fry, huge burning fire in hearth and plenty of neighborly chatter, then you have a typical Friday night in the dead of winter in the heartland of north central Wisconsin. A very rich, moveable feast for the senses! Thanks Pitlik’s Family, it was a real pleasure working with you all and we very much look forward to seeing you all again in the future!
