Freeze | Top Crosslake Resort Photographer
/This past weekend Buffalo Media Group found ourselves in the north woods of north central Minnesota shooting stock photography for Boyd Lodge. This is our first shoot for Boyd Lodge and we were welcomed with open arms and warm cabins. First thing we did was light a log burning fire to warm us up. The high temperatures during the day doubtfully even reached zero degrees…Uff Dah! The days were sunny and crisp and were actually really great for shooting. The evenings were clear as well but the temps were dropping into the minus teens. Sunday morning was the coldest shooting yet at -27 below zero but there was plenty of wildlife to find roaming around warming themselves up to the morning sun. All in all, the shoot was a huge success despite the extremely frigid temps. It was certainly the coldest shoot we have ever been on and was good training for our upcoming shoot in the interior of Alaska in February.
