This past month Buffalo Media Group took a week off to explore the Big Island of Hawaii. We set out to enjoy some family vacation time but had time to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park as well as charter a fishing trip off the Kona coast. The Kona coast is synonymous with giant blue marlin and it delivered. It delivered itself in the form of 133'“ and 446 lbs. My wife Chrissy hauled this beast in in about an hour and twenty minutes. Thanks to the expert guides at High Noon Sport Fishing for putting us on the fish and helping land it!

Mystical | Top Alaska Resort Video Production

This past February Buffalo Media Group was on location in Fairbanks, Alaska to cover video production for Chena Hot Springs Resort. This was our first time shooting in Alaska and know it won’t be our last. We were in for a real treat with these guys. The resort itself was busy, bustling with people on snowmobile rides and dogsled rides. The place was a winter wonderland and we were able to see the northern lights. Hands down the best northern lights we have ever seen. They are pretty much a guarantee in the winter months in Fairbanks. Rustic | WI Resort Video Production

This past January Buffalo Media Group shot over to north central Wisconsin to cover video production for Pitlik’s Sand Beach Resort. We had a wonderful time capturing all the sights, sounds, and smells that make this such a charming resort in the north woods of Wisconsin. This is very much so the quintessential cabin retreat where you can have a nice cozy cabin with a log fire going after a day of adventure and eating home-cooked dinner. Generations | Top Bozeman Resort Video Production Company

This is our second installment of the heritage segments we are producing for Nine Quarter Circle Ranch. Buffalo Media Group spent a couple days shooting video for Nine Quarter Circle Ranch in August. We had an amazing experience out in Montana and are so thankful to the Kelsey Family for inviting us out. We appreciate you guys very much and look forward to the next great adventure!

This past summer Buffalo Media Group made our way out to Nine Quarter Circle Ranch in Gallatin Gateway, Montana to cover photo and video production. We were approached to cover an accompanying piece on the ranches upcoming 75 year anniversary. We produced a couple different pieces, this being the first. What make this one so special is that the owners dug into the archives and pulled out some amazing 16mm footage and threw it on the projector. The absolute beauty of the raw, vintage film was a feast for the eyes and was very well executed in delivering a glimpse into life at the ranch in the 50’s and 60’s. Winter | Top Midwest Resort Video Production

This early 2021 season Buffalo Media Group started the year off with a bang! We were on site in northern Minnesota for a fabulous weekend of shooting for Mountain Inn at Lutsen in Lutsen, Minnesota. Located on the north shore in the north woods of Minnesota alongside the mighty cliffs and mountains on Lake Superior, Mountain Inn at Lutsen is the perfect hotspot destination for all things outdoors. Mountain Inn at Lutsen is the perfect basecamp for all your daily adventures on the north shore. Vintage | Top Colorado Resort Photographer

This past early October Buffalo Media Group ventured out to The Outlook Lodge in the charming town of Green Mountain Falls, Colorado. We had a fabulous time shooting commercial real estate and resort photography. We also brought along out vintage 8mm video camera for just walking around and capturing the ambiance and mood of the environment! We had a lot of fun using it!

Explore | Colorado Springs Resort Video Production

This past early October Buffalo Media Group flew out to Denver then continued on through Colorado Springs and over to Green Mountain Falls, Colorado for a shoot for The Little Beaver Inn. The Town of Green Mountain Falls is north of Pikes Peak and is 11 miles west of Colorado Springs just off U.S. Highway 24. At an altitude of 7,800 feet, the Town is set in a picturesque narrow mountain valley surrounded on three sides by Pike National Forest. Just steps outside our doors you can explore 16 hiking trails that feature spectacular views overlooking the Town, as well as a direct connection to the Ring the Peak Trail, a 57-mile-long loop that circumnavigates Pikes Peak.. Natural assets include three creeks, waterfalls, a lake, rugged cliffs, forests, wildflowers, and abundant wildlife.

Well where to begin…how about the Rocky Mountains, how about fall in the Rockies, and to top that off, an amazing lodge high in the mountains! The Outlook Lodge is located in the hills surrounding the quaint, picturesque town of Green Mountain Falls, Colorado. Buffalo Media Group was hired to cover resort videography and drone video for the lodge. We had an excellent time working with the owners and property managers and are very much looking forward to many years of continued success and growth.
